Services
The store listing and the site have to describe the same app.
App store optimization is the work of making a listing retrievable for the job the app does, and keeping the marketing site from contradicting it.
The same URL has to rank, be quotable, be named in chat, and be a source in the overview.
A named result is published when that client clears the figure.
App store optimization
01 — The gap
The name is a list of keywords.
The app title tries to rank for every adjacent job. The store may suppress it, and a person cannot tell what the app does.

The queries and prompts worth the listing, split between the store and the site so they do not fight.

Reporting
What the listing says, what the site says, and whether answers name this app or a roundup.
The work
What this is
People search the store for a job: scan a receipt, edit a photo, file an expense. They also ask a chat product which app to install. If the store subtitle, the screenshots, and the website use three different promises, the answer names someone else.
This is not a keyword dump into the app name. Apple and Google both treat a stuffed name as a policy problem. ShoutRank writes the listing a person can understand, then checks whether search and the answer surfaces repeat it.
The problem
What usually breaks
01
The name is a list of keywords.
The app title tries to rank for every adjacent job. The store may suppress it, and a person cannot tell what the app does.
02
The site and the listing disagree.
The homepage says one audience. The store says another. Screenshots show a build the site no longer documents.
03
Ratings are treated as a growth hack.
Prompts fire before the person has finished the job. The rating moves. The listing still does not say who the app is for.
The practice
How ShoutRank approaches it
We read the live listing on the App Store and on Google Play, and the URL that should explain the app. The job, the audience, and the limit have to match.
Creative is specified, not guessed: the first screenshot states the job, the subtitle states who it is for, and the description states what it will not do. We do not buy installs, and we do not promise a category rank.

What the work includes
01
Listing map
The queries and prompts worth the listing, split between the store and the site so they do not fight.
02
Metadata
Name, subtitle or short description, and the long description, written to the store’s limits.
03
Screenshot order
What the first three frames must say, in the language the store is localized to.
04
Site parity
The marketing URL uses the same product name, the same job, and a link a store reviewer can open.
Sequence
Process
- 1
Discovery
Confirm which stores and which countries are real, and which localizations you will maintain.
- 2
Audit
Read the current listing, the reviews, and the site URL side by side.
- 3
Strategy
Assign the job the listing should own, and the jobs that belong on a different app or a web page.
- 4
Implementation
Rewrite metadata and the screenshot sequence with the people who ship the build.
- 5
Monitoring
Watch store search for the assigned terms, and a fixed set of chat prompts that ask which app to install.
- 6
Optimization
Revise when a release changes the job the screenshots show.
- 7
Reporting
What the listing says, what the site says, and whether answers name this app or a roundup.
The desk
Why ShoutRank
The website is part of the listing
A store page that points at a site the crawler cannot read wastes the visit the listing earned.
Chat is a second shelf
GEO here means a chat product asked which app to install. AIO means a Google overview that cites a store URL or your site. We log them apart.
No install guarantees
Category rank and download counts move. We will not sell a position in the chart.
The report
How success is measured
Impressions and product-page views for the assigned store terms, where the store console shows them.
Whether the site and the listing still use the same product name after a release.
Whether a fixed prompt set names your app, and which URL the answer cites. We do not invent a download total.
A named client result is published when that client clears the figure. Until then the report is the measurement.
ShoutRank does not guarantee a ranking or a citation.

The free check shows the gaps on one public page. If the gap is this service, a neighboring one, or a two-week review, we will say so after you ask.
