# Platform SEO

Platform SEO from ShoutRank for Shopify, WordPress, WooCommerce, Webflow, Wix, BigCommerce, Magento, Next.js, and YouTube.
Each platform exposes a different set of URLs, and hides a different set. Platform SEO is the work of knowing which is which.

A recommendation that assumes you can edit the HTML is useless on a host that rewrites it. ShoutRank starts from the controls the platform actually gives the team, then applies the same [technical](https://shoutrank.com/technical-seo) and [on-page](https://shoutrank.com/on-page-seo) standards.

Commerce catalogs share a problem across Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, and Magento: filters that should not all be indexed. The page for that buyer is [ecommerce SEO](https://shoutrank.com/ecommerce-seo). The pages below are the platform specifics.

ShoutRank does not guarantee a ranking or a citation.

## Questions

### Will you tell us to replatform?

Rarely. Most gaps are configuration and templates. A migration is its own project, and only when the current platform cannot express the URLs you need.

### Do you build themes or apps?

We specify the change and check the HTML after release. Your developers, or the agency that builds the store, write the code.

### Is YouTube a website platform?

It is a search surface and a source answer engines cite. The work is the video and the page around it, including the page on your own site that should own the query.
