# The pack and the overview must name the same clinic.

Search for dental and medical groups: local pack, location pages, and accurate AI Overviews. SEO, AEO, GEO, and AIO.
A patient searches the procedure and the neighborhood, then checks the answer a model gives.

If the map, the location page, and the overview disagree on the doctor or the service, the group looks careless.

## A wrong provider is not a thin-content problem. It is a false one.

Dental and medical groups compete in the local pack for the clinic people can drive to, and in AI Overviews for “does this group do implants” or “who is the pediatric dentist at the north office.” Those answers have to match the building. A city page that lists every procedure the brand offers anywhere sends patients to a clinic that does not do the work.

Accuracy is the standard. Hours, insurance notes you are allowed to publish, and the clinicians who actually practice at that address have to be current. A doctor who left, still named in the overview, is a correction we treat as urgent. We do not write clinical protocols, and we do not let a marketing line stand in for a fact the group can defend.

## A procedure, a clinic, a person.

The location URL owns the local query. A condition article is a different page, and only if the group is willing to keep it accurate.

### Near the clinic

pediatric dentist in Hyde Park

The location page and the map profile name the same office, the same hours, and the dentists who see children there.

### Procedure

dental implants at the north Austin office

Only if that office performs them. A brand-wide service dumped onto every clinic is how overviews get the address wrong.

### Provider

Dr. Shah dentist Austin

The bio matches the clinic where they practice. When they move or leave, the page and the profile change together.

### Overview

does this medical group offer evening visits

The sentence an overview can quote is on the location page, in HTML, and it is checked when hours change.

## One clinic, the services it actually provides.

We build the location system so a patient, a map, and an overview are looking at the same facts.

### A page per clinic

Address, hours, the procedures performed there, and the clinicians scheduled there. Cities you do not operate in do not get a URL.

### Provider records

Each public clinician has one bio, linked to the clinics where they see patients. Departures are removed from the page, the profile, and the directory in the same pass.

### Claims you can stand behind

Outcomes, insurance participation, and “we treat X” stay off the page unless the group has approved that sentence for that clinic. We do not invent recovery rates.

### Profiles that match

Google Business Profile name, phone, categories, and hours match the location URL. Reviews are answered as that clinic, not as a national brand voice that denies the address.

## Cited domains

en.wikipedia.org is the most cited domain in Healthcare in this snapshot.

Source for this chart: [US health sources](https://shoutrank.com/data-studies/us-health-sources.md).
This data is accumulated from multiple sources and internal training data, which helps us get the client cited.

| Domain | AI Overview | ChatGPT | Gemini | AI Mode | Perplexity |

A dash means this snapshot has no count for that engine. A zero means the domain was not cited in the measured sample.

## What is at stake

- **Two surfaces, one clinic.** The local pack and the overview have to name the same office.
- **URL that should own it.** The location page for the building that performs the procedure.
- **What counts as an error.** A doctor who left, still named. A service the office does not offer.

## The overview sends a patient to the wrong building.

Someone searches implants or a pediatric dentist and gets an answer. If every clinic page lists every service the brand offers anywhere, the answer picks an address that does not do the work. That is a false direction, not a thin page.

## Pediatric dentistry at the Hyde Park office

Procedure, people, and address agree. A model quoting the page cannot invent a second clinic.

- Dentists who see children at this address, the hours, and the phone for this desk.
- Implants are not on this page, because this office does not place them. The office that does is linked by name.
- When a dentist leaves, this page, the directory, and the profile change in the same pass.

## Sequence

1. **List real clinics.** Open offices only. A city you might enter later does not get a location URL.
2. **Attach the work.** Procedures and clinicians are recorded per building, not copied from the brand menu.
3. **Approve the sentence.** Clinical and insurance lines wait for the person the group names. Marketing does not publish them alone.
4. **Recheck what is quoted.** Pages an overview already cites get a pass when hours, insurance notes, or staff change.

We will not invent recovery rates, buy reviews, or leave a departed clinician on a page because the name still ranks.

## What we watch

Map-pack presence for the clinics that take patients, whether overviews name the right office for a procedure, and how fast a departed provider disappears from the public pages.

A named result is published when that client clears the figure. A client figure is added here only after that client clears it.

## Healthcare group questions

### Should every city we might expand into have a page?

No. A page exists for a clinic that is open. A future market can have a single announcement if you want one. It should not wear the same template as a clinic that sees patients.

### How do AI Overviews name the wrong office?

They quote a page that lists the procedure without the address, or an old bio. We put the procedure on the clinic that performs it, and we recheck the pages overviews already cite.

### Who is allowed to approve a medical sentence?

Someone the group designates, with a date on the page when the claim is clinical. Marketing does not publish outcome numbers, insurance rules, or “we treat” lines on their own.

### What happens when a dentist leaves?

The bio comes off the clinic page, the directory, and the profile. Leaving the name up because it still ranks is how a patient books the wrong person.

### Do reviews belong in this work?

Yes, as the clinic’s own reviews, answered in the clinic’s name. We do not buy them, and we do not mark up testimonials the group wrote.

## Audit the clinic page patients will check.

The free visibility audit reads one location URL. Bring the office whose map listing and overview need to agree.
