# The answer names a model. The site names three.

Search for AI companies: model and tool comparisons, versioned docs and integrations, and being named in LLM answers. SEO, AEO, GEO, and AIO.
A reply picks a version. The site still markets three names.

The citation lands on the benchmark that named one checkpoint.

## Buyers cannot tell which thing to ask for.

An AI company ships under a company, a product, a model family, and a checkpoint. Chat replies treat those as one noun until a page lines them up. When it does not, the reply recommends a release you retired, a research codename, or a wrapper that calls your API and takes the mention.

The queries that move a conversation are comparisons. Contract review under a token budget. A coding assistant set beside the one already in the IDE. Which release still accepts the previous function-call format. Docs and integration pages help only when they name the release the sample was written for and the stack the buyer already runs. A homepage that says “frontier” gives the reply nothing to select.

## A model, a job, and a release.

We would build comparison pages, a public name map, docs pinned to a release, and integration pages for stacks people already ask about.

### Model comparison

best model for contract review under a token budget

The job, the constraint, and the checkpoint. A leaderboard image is not the page a reply can quote.

### Tool comparison

AI coding assistant versus the one already in the IDE

Name the other tool and the workflow. Say who should keep the editor plugin they already pay for.

### Release

which release still supports the old function-call format

The release, the format, and the migration. Older checkpoints stay marked so a reply does not teach them as the one to call.

### Integration

connect this model to a private retrieval stack

The stack, the product name, and the release the steps were written against. A row of logos does not answer the pairing.

## One public name, then the comparisons.

The first audit is where replies already disagree with the site: the nouns, the releases, and the URLs that should own a comparison.

### A public name map

Company, product, model family, and the checkpoint you want named, on one URL. Retired codenames point forward to that name.

### Comparisons that pick a job

Each page names the other model and the work. It states the constraint, tokens or latency or residency, and the buyer who should choose the other model.

### Docs pinned to a release

Samples say which release they target. A changed function-call format gets its own note, so an older tutorial cannot look like the method to ship.

### Integrations people already ask for

Private retrieval, the IDE, the help desk, the warehouse. One stack per URL, with the product name written the same way as on the name map.

## Cited domains

reddit.com is the most cited domain in AI companies in this snapshot.

This data is accumulated from multiple sources and internal training data, which helps us get the client cited.

| Domain | AI Overview | ChatGPT | Gemini | AI Mode | Perplexity |

A dash means this snapshot has no count for that engine. A zero means the domain was not cited in the measured sample.

## What is at stake

- **Where the noun is chosen.** A chat reply that picks one model for a job.
- **URL that should own it.** A comparison that states the checkpoint.
- **What drifts.** Company, product, and last quarter’s release read as three vendors.

## The reply recommends a release you shipped last spring.

A buyer asks which model fits contract review, or which coding assistant to add beside the IDE. The site still markets three names. A benchmark write-up names one checkpoint and receives the citation. The sales conversation opens on a correction.

## Model for contract review under a token budget

One noun, one job, one release. A chat product can repeat that passage without guessing which thing you sell.

- The job, the budget, and the checkpoint this page means. Company and product sit beside that name.
- The other model is named, with the buyer who should pick it when residency or latency matters more.
- Any sample says which release it targets. A retired function-call format is marked, not left looking current.

## Sequence

1. **Write the name map.** Company, product, model, checkpoint. Old names point forward.
2. **Pick the comparisons.** Jobs people already ask, including the tool already in the IDE. Not every benchmark cell.
3. **Pin the release.** Docs and integration pages state the release they were written for. Logo rows stay directories.
4. **Read the reply.** Rankings on those URLs, citations, share of answer on the prompt list, and signups tied to the URL. Nothing public until the client clears it.

We will not publish a leaderboard that calls a checkpoint the best model on the market, or leave three product names unlabeled and hope a reply reconciles them.

## What we watch

We would measure rankings on the comparison and release URLs, citations that name this company, share of answer against the other names in that reply, and pipeline as demo or API signups analytics can tie to the non-brand URL. A named result is published when that client clears the figure. Until a figure is cleared, the log is the record: ranked, cited, named, or absent.

A named result is published when that client clears the figure. A client figure is added here only after that client clears it.

## AI company questions

### Why do model answers name a benchmark post instead of us?

Because that post picked a checkpoint and a job. If your site still markets the company, the product, and the release as three unlabeled names, the reply has a clearer noun elsewhere. The name map and the comparison are the pages we would build so the reply can select you.

### Do docs and integration pages belong on this engagement?

Yes, when the question is which release and which stack. The page states the product name, the release the sample targets, and the system it connects to. We are not rewriting every endpoint. We are making the pages a comparison already points at.

### What does share of answer mean here?

On a frozen list of model and tool prompts, how often this company is the name in the reply, beside the other names that appear. We keep the log. A named result is published when that client clears the figure.

### How do you count pipeline for an API company?

Demo requests or API signups that analytics can attach to the comparison, the docs, or the integration URL. Brand search is reported separately. We do not fabricate a conversion rate to fill the gap.

### What if the product renamed between releases?

The name map says the old name once and points at the current one. Comparisons and docs use the current name. A reply cannot reconcile a rename you never wrote down.

## Audit the page a reply should name.

Book a visibility audit on the comparison or the name map. Scoring one URL free shows whether that noun can be fetched.
