# AIO consultant for the overview.

Hire an AIO consultant at ShoutRank. AI Overview optimization for the Google block above the blue links, on a fixed query list.
An AIO consultant works the AI Overview on Google. The same queries each month: shown, cited, or absent.

## The job of an AIO consultant

AIO means AI Overview optimization. Google sometimes writes a summary above the organic results and cites a handful of URLs. The consultant finds the queries that trigger that block, records the source, and edits the passage the overview is willing to lift.

A ranking under the block is a different outcome. You can hold the blue link and still lose the citation. The overview also follows related questions the searcher did not type. A new question is added to the list only when it keeps appearing.

- Record the overview before you edit. Search demand stays with the [SEO practice](https://shoutrank.com/seo.md).
- A model reply is not this block. Chat products are the [GEO consultant](https://shoutrank.com/geo-consultant.md)’s log.

The overview keeps a few pages. A tag cannot supply a claim the page never made. If the assigned URL is out of the index, the citation edit waits.

## Questions about hiring an AIO consultant

### What does an AIO consultant do?

On a fixed set of Google queries, an AIO consultant records whether an overview appears, which URL it cites, and whether that source is yours.

### How is AIO different from SEO?

SEO assigns the query to a URL and reads impressions and clicks. A page can rank in the blue links while the overview cites a publisher. The AIO consultant works that citation.

### How is AIO different from GEO?

GEO is the generative reply in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Copilot. AIO is the summary Google writes on the search results page.

### Does every query get an AI Overview?

No. A query with no overview is not forced into one. The log says shown, cited, or absent.

### Can an AIO consultant guarantee the citation?

No. A slot in the block is not sold.
